We are located at on the South side of the States Airport next to the Airport Social Club. We have an office, a shop and a packing hall. SJL members are welcome to use the facilities of the airport social club but are reminded that alcohol must not be consumed until the last lift of the day has taken off.
We generally operate a GA-8 Airvan, which can carry up to 8 skydivers to 10,000 feet in around twenty five minutes. At boogie times we do operate with turbine aircraft including a Let 410, Pac 750xl and a Nomad.
Most types of training and coaching is available on Jersey, however do to the limited availability of instructors and coaches We recommend that you pre book any coaching in order to ensure that your coach does not get roped into other duties.
All our jumps take place onto the beach at St Aubins Bay. The beach is manned at all times with experienced skydivers and a safety boat just in case anyone was to land in the water, although this is extremely unlikely since the beach is 5 miles long and over half a mile wide at low tide.
We have teamed up with Jersey Odyssey who will be pleased to arrange accommodation for you at nearby camp sites or at selected bed & breakfast houses and hotels where we have negotiated special skydiver discounts.
